The 60s were battling for the WJYFL South Conference Championship.  After suffering their first loss last week, the Mustangs were ready to play.  Ryan Malone scored 3 times on their way to an 18-0 shut out victory over the visiting Saints.  The 60s defense created 4 turnovers, and shut down the Saints' offense all day.  The win gave the 60s their 2nd WJYFL South conference championship in 3 seasons.  The defense pitched their 4th shutout of the season.  The win gives the Mustangs a (7-1) record on the season.  The 60s face the Bordentown Bulldogs in Florence this Sunday Nov 10th at 12:30 pm.
#5 John Daily runs for a 1st qtr TD in the 80s win
The 80s were also battling for the WJYFL South Conference Regular Season Championship and the #1 seed for playoffs.  They faced yet another battle of the unbeatens vs. the (7-0) Saints.  Gloucester jumped out 6-0 early on a reverse by John Daily, who made a great move passed the defender on his way for a touchdown.  On Gloucester's second drive, Jacob Zearfoss broke away from the pack for a long run, but was run down by St. Pete's Kenneth Carter on the two yard line.  The next play, Zearfoss scored to give the Mustangs a 12-0 lead.  St. Petes didn't quit, coming right back with a long TD run by Carter cutting the lead to 12-7 at the half.  St. Pete's other RB scored on the first play of the 4th quarter giving the Saints a 13-12 lead.  The Mustangs didn't back down as they milked the clock under 4 mins in the game and punched in a 1 yd TD to take an 18-13 lead with 3 mins left.  After 3 short gains, Gloucester's Dominic Ryan came up with a big tackle on Carter to stop the Saints with 2 mins left in the game.  A few players later, Zearfoss added his 3rd TD of the game and Gloucester sealed their 24-13 victory giving them an (8-0) record, #1 seed and the Regular Season Conference Championship.  The 80s host the Haddon Twp Hawks this Saturday Nov 9th at 12 pm.

#9 Chris Dolson gets his 2nd INT of the day

The 95s had a defensive battle with the Saints for most of the game, but couldn't generate enough offense for the win.  Chris Dolson had two INTs for the Gloucester defense, and Cody Bathurst, Mike Morrell, Dylan Pinto, and Steven Burkhardt stood out defensively for the Mustangs.  Steven Burkhardt added a late TD for Gloucester as they dropped a 24-6 loss to the Saints.  The 95s season ended with a (1-7) record.
#23 Joey Pinto returned an INT for a TD in the big win
The 110s who needed to win to get into the playoffs, hosted the Florence Flashes.  The Mustangs scored early and often on their way to a 46-6 win.  Jarred Matchet took his first carry up the sideline for a long TD with Pinto catching the extra pt.  Joey Pinto then picked off the Flashes' QB and returned it for a TD giving Gloucester an early 13-0 lead.  The Flashes Kick Returner then returned the ensuing kick inside Gloucester's 5 yd line, and two plays later, the score was 13-6.  That was the last bit of offense Florence would get.  Gavin Callahan threw a long TD pass to Junior Barnum.  Normally Offensive Linemen Mikey Capra, Andrew Lamb, and Charlie Wigginton all lined up at Rb making their dreams come true getting carries and scoring Touchdowns for the Mustangs.  The win gave Gloucester a (4-4) record and the 4th seed in the South Conference.  Gloucester will travel to Haddon Twp Saturday night at 7 pm.

130s geting ready for action against Seneca
The 130s continued to win despite two key injuries with a (19-0) win over the Seneca Eagles.  Gloucester's Kyle Burkhardt had two TDs, a receiving TD from Quarterback Nathaniel Kidd, and Burkhardt also recovered a Fumble in the end zone.  Austin Pilloro added a rushing TD for the Mustangs.  Joey Shipp, AJ Radlinger, Shayne McCabe, and Treyvon Jackson played great for Gloucester's defense as they pitched the shutout.  Gloucesters 130s ended the regular season with a (6-2) record and the #3 seed in the South Conference.  They will travel to Pine Hill Saturday afternoon to square off against the Pine Hill Rams at 2 pm.
#44 Maddox Zane had a TD and XP for the 80s JV

The 80s JV hosted the Sterling Knights.  TJ Thomas ran for two TDs, and Maddox Zane added a TD and an extra pt for the Mustangs.  The defense played outstanding allowing just 1 TD to the Knights on their way to a 19-7 victory over the visitors.  Tim Dick added a fumble recovery for Gloucester.  The win gives the 80s JV a (6-1) record on the season.
The 60s JV traveled to Washington Twp to face the Minutemen.  The Mustangs won (13-7) over the Minutemen as Donvan Robinson and Stevie Canning scored TDs for Gloucester.  Harry Ulmer added an extra pt to round out the scoring.  Gloucester's defense played great as they allowed just 7 pts in the win.  The win gives Gloucester 60s JV a (1-1-1) record on the season
